Uncommon x Fragment DesignのiPhone5ケース

HF氏のブログで紹介されていた、Uncommon x Fragment DesignのiPhoneケースを買ってみました。

USのオフィシャルサイトから直接購入しましたが、日本でも買えるみたいですね。
ケースは$34.95で送料は$15。
円高なので、複数個買えば日本で買うよりお得です。
カード決済で即手続き完了、10日程度で到着しました。

マルチカラーを選んでみたのですが、プリントがイメージよりくすんでいてチープ。。
質感もいまいちで少し残念。

一方、友人の選んだLeopardはいい感じ。

こちらが正解だったようです。

I've bought the uncommon x Fragment Design iPhone5 case which is introduced by Hiroshi Fujiwara's blog.

I ordered on US official site because of the recent strong yen.
They will ship internationally, and it cost is $15.
It is better if you buy with your friend because shipping cost is flat-rate.

I chosen a multi color one, but its texture and print is cheaper than image.

But Leopard one which is chosen by my friend looks good.

Leopard is the best choice.

Kindle Fireにしました。

iPad miniやNexus 7など、7インチタブレットの熾烈な覇権争いが始まっていますが、私はKindle Fireを予約しました。

理由は3つ。

①ジェフ・ベソス本人も認める(ほぼ)原価販売による圧倒的安さ
②iPadより小さく、持ち運びしやすい（電車で立ちながらでも読める)
③安価で豊富な海外コンテンツ(英語学習に最適)

12/19発売とまだ先ですが、いまから届くのが楽しみです。 <11>在庫量は不明ですが、Kindle Paperwhiteが人気のようで3G,WiFiモデル共に1/6の発送になっています。Kindle Fire/HDはまだ発売日に届くようです。

Apple and Google recently launched a new 7 inch tablet like iPad or Nexus 7.
But finally, I decided to buy Kindle Fire.

There are three reason.

1.ultimately cheap
Jeff Bezos admitted that its price almost equal to cost.

2.Smaller than iPad. Easy to bring
We can use even if in Japanese train.

3.Cheap and various foreign contents
It is best to learn English.

Kindle Fire will be delivered on 19th Dec.
I'm really looking forward to receive new gadget.

M&Mの家具

伝説的内装屋のM&M。

M&M is the legend of the interior designing company in Japan, especially in Harajuku. They had made the interior of Nowhere, which was included the Japanese Apparel brand, Undercover and A Bathing Ape.
And recently, they has also made the interior of Supreme Harajuku.

M&M furniture is now available at Happy Ever After, which is located in Tokyo, Meguro-ku. It's really cool, and it's not too expensive.

当然オリジナルのハーマンミラー製の方が高額です。

どちらもebayだと日本に比べて格段に安いですが、サイズも大きいので梱包が億劫なのか、"local pick-up only（取りに来い）"と。。
カリフォルニアは取りに行くには遠すぎる。

日本だとhhstyle.comやModernicaで購入できます。

ESU(Eames Storage Unit) was designed by eames for the Case Study House #8.
Currently, Modernica also deliver this storage as CSU(Case Study Unit).
CSU is official reprodut as of now, and it is cheaper than original one made by Harman Miller.

On ebay, these are cheaper than buying in Japan, but many sellers always say "local pick-up only".
California is too far to pick-up.

リーバイス渋谷店で、世界最古のジーンズがお披露目

先日、Levi's OVERALLS THE ORIGINというイベントがリーバイス渋谷店で開催されました。

これは、そのお披露目時の動画ですが、リーバイスがオリジナルであることを証明し、その偉大さや貴重さを最大限まで引き出しています。

実物は、深遠な経年劣化を通じ、神々しいまでの色落ちでした。

こういうことを続けていただきたい。

Levi’s OVERALLS THE ORIGIN “THE FILM”　SLAMXHYPE

Coinciding with the Levi’s OVERALLS THE ORIGIN initiative which has seen some of the oldest denim from the iconic denim label reworked, the oldest pair of Levi’s denim that dates back to 1876, made an appearance in Japan at a recent launch. On hand was Historian, Lynn Downey who is the person responsible for this specific pair of denim and works at the Levi’s Staruss & Co. Archives. Speaking passionately about the denim, this video makes for great viewing.
Levi's OVERALLS THE ORIGINという有名なデニムレーベルが補修した、数本のビンテージデニムが展示されるイベントの開催に合わせて、1876年に作られた世界最古のデニムが日本で披露された。
触れるのはヒストリアンであり、Levi's Staruss & Co. Archivesに所属しこれらのデニムの責任者であるLynn Downeyである。デニムについて情熱的に語っている、このビデオは素晴らしい。
