伝説的内装屋のM&M。

エム＆エムについて Fashion Press 「M&M(エム＆エム)」は、裏原宿という文化を支えてきた内装クリエーター集団であり、インテリアブランド、ファッションブランド。 ア ベイシング エイプのNIGOとアンダーカバーの高橋盾が原宿竹下通り構えた「NOWHERE」もM&Mが手がけた。そのほかネイバーフッド、シュプリームなどストリートファッションの中心的ブランドのほとんどがこのM&Mによって仕上げられた。ペンキや木材の使用、無骨で味のあるデザインを多くの人を魅了した。ショップだけではなく、レストラン、カフェなどのデザインも手掛けている。

都内で唯一家具を取り扱う、M&M専門店、Happy Ever Afterは目黒にあります。 スツールとか、デスクとか、いいかんじでした。 値段も割とリーズナブルです。 詳細はここに詳しいです。


M&M is the legend of the interior designing company in Japan, especially in Harajuku. They had made the interior of Nowhere, which was included the Japanese Apparel brand, Undercover and A Bathing Ape.
And recently, they has also made the interior of Supreme Harajuku.

M&M furniture is now available at Happy Ever After, which is located in Tokyo, Meguro-ku. It's really cool, and it's not too expensive.

Modernicaが今でいうリプロダクト品としてCSU(Case Study Unit)を販売しています。

当然オリジナルのハーマンミラー製の方が高額です。

どちらもebayだと日本に比べて格段に安いですが、サイズも大きいので梱包が億劫なのか、"local pick-up only（取りに来い）"と。。
カリフォルニアは取りに行くには遠すぎる。

日本だとhhstyle.comやModernicaで購入できます。

ESU(Eames Storage Unit) was designed by eames for the Case Study House #8.
Currently, Modernica also deliver this storage as CSU(Case Study Unit).
CSU is official reprodut as of now, and it is cheaper than original one made by Harman Miller.

On ebay, these are cheaper than buying in Japan, but many sellers always say "local pick-up only".
California is too far to pick-up.

KAWS×カリモクの木製コンパニオン

KAWSが日本の老舗木製家具メーカー、カリモクと組んでコンパニオンを製作しました。
100体限定で、全てにKAWSのサインが入っているそうです。

2011/5/28に発売され、値段は￥252,000と大変高額となっています。

OriginalFakeで100体限定で発売されたそうですが、並びはあったんでしょうか。

OriginalFake prepares for the release of their wooden KAWS Companion produced by storied Japanese wood furniture company Karimoku. Limited to only 100 signed units, the figure will see a release through the OriginalFake store in Tokyo on May 28, 2011. Price is set at \252,000 (approx. $3,119 USD), and as usual, the store will hold a ticket drawing to determine the lucky customers who get a crack at buying the figure.

エルメスの家具が、今年のミラノサローネで発表されるそうです。
Enzo Mari、Antonio Citterio、Denis Montel、Eric Benqueなど錚々たるメンバーが
デザインに参加しているとのこと。

Hermes Launches a Furniture Collection BAZAAR
