伝説的内装屋のM&M。

エム＆エムについて Fashion Press 「M&M(エム＆エム)」は、裏原宿という文化を支えてきた内装クリエーター集団であり、インテリアブランド、ファッションブランド。 ア ベイシング エイプのNIGOとアンダーカバーの高橋盾が原宿竹下通り構えた「NOWHERE」もM&Mが手がけた。そのほかネイバーフッド、シュプリームなどストリートファッションの中心的ブランドのほとんどがこのM&Mによって仕上げられた。ペンキや木材の使用、無骨で味のあるデザインを多くの人を魅了した。ショップだけではなく、レストラン、カフェなどのデザインも手掛けている。

都内で唯一家具を取り扱う、M&M専門店、Happy Ever Afterは目黒にあります。 スツールとか、デスクとか、いいかんじでした。 値段も割とリーズナブルです。 詳細はここに詳しいです。


M&M is the legend of the interior designing company in Japan, especially in Harajuku. They had made the interior of Nowhere, which was included the Japanese Apparel brand, Undercover and A Bathing Ape.
And recently, they has also made the interior of Supreme Harajuku.

M&M furniture is now available at Happy Ever After, which is located in Tokyo, Meguro-ku. It's really cool, and it's not too expensive.

どちらもebayだと日本に比べて格段に安いですが、サイズも大きいので梱包が億劫なのか、"local pick-up only（取りに来い）"と。。
カリフォルニアは取りに行くには遠すぎる。

日本だとhhstyle.comやModernicaで購入できます。

ESU(Eames Storage Unit) was designed by eames for the Case Study House #8.
Currently, Modernica also deliver this storage as CSU(Case Study Unit).
CSU is official reprodut as of now, and it is cheaper than original one made by Harman Miller.

On ebay, these are cheaper than buying in Japan, but many sellers always say "local pick-up only".
California is too far to pick-up.

リーバイス渋谷店で、世界最古のジーンズがお披露目

先日、Levi's OVERALLS THE ORIGINというイベントがリーバイス渋谷店で開催されました。

これは、そのお披露目時の動画ですが、リーバイスがオリジナルであることを証明し、その偉大さや貴重さを最大限まで引き出しています。

実物は、深遠な経年劣化を通じ、神々しいまでの色落ちでした。

Levi’s OVERALLS THE ORIGIN “THE FILM”　SLAMXHYPE

Coinciding with the Levi’s OVERALLS THE ORIGIN initiative which has seen some of the oldest denim from the iconic denim label reworked, the oldest pair of Levi’s denim that dates back to 1876, made an appearance in Japan at a recent launch. On hand was Historian, Lynn Downey who is the person responsible for this specific pair of denim and works at the Levi’s Staruss & Co. Archives. Speaking passionately about the denim, this video makes for great viewing.
Levi's OVERALLS THE ORIGINという有名なデニムレーベルが補修した、数本のビンテージデニムが展示されるイベントの開催に合わせて、1876年に作られた世界最古のデニムが日本で披露された。
触れるのはヒストリアンであり、Levi's Staruss & Co. Archivesに所属しこれらのデニムの責任者であるLynn Downeyである。デニムについて情熱的に語っている、このビデオは素晴らしい。

Incase×Paul Rodriguezによるスケーターのためのバッグコレクション

IncaseがNike SBに所属するプロスケートボーダーのPaul Rodriguezと組んでスケーターのためのバッグコレクションを発表しました。

２回目のコラボになりますが、前回のものと比べてシックで大人っぽいデザインとカラーリングが施されています。


Incaseは元々はアップルストアなどで見かけるギーク向けのPCケース、バッグメーカーというイメージでしたが、最近ではA.P.Cやfragment designなどとコラボするなど、ファッションコンシャスなブランドへとシフトしているようですね。

2011秋コレクションは２つのラップトップスリーブ、ダッフルバッグ、２種類のスケートパックで構成されている。2011秋のニューカラーはグレートブラックで、昨シーズンのコレクションより、シリアスで遊び心がそがれている。このニューコレクションはここで購入できる。

カーハート×uniform experimentのカプセルコレクション

カーハート×uniform experimentのカプセルコレクションが2012 S/Sにてスタートするようです。Levi's FenomでもおなじみのUEロゴとファイブスターがプリントされています。

まだ発売日やコレクションピースの詳細は発表されていないようです。

ペンキ加工とかいいかんじです。

uniform experiment x Carhartt 2012 Spring/Summer Capsule Collection Hypebeast

Here’s a sneak peek at an upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2012 between American workwear label Carhartt and Japanese brand uniform experiment. The capsule collection consists of several pieces including a jacket and vest with corduroy detailing as well as a basic work pant. Previewed in navy and brown colorways, each piece has been branded with the Carhartt and uniform experiment logos in addition to a miniature star detailing.

これは先行公開された、アメリカンワークウェアレーベルのカーハートと日本のブランドUniform Experimentによる2012 S/Sのコレクションである。このカプセルコレクションはジャケットやベーシックなワークパンツと同様のディティールのコーデュロイベストなど、いくつかのピースで構成されている。ネイビーとブラウンの2色展開で、どちらも小さな星柄のロゴと共に、カーハートとuniform experimentのロゴがブランドされている。
